Exactly 30 years ago this year, Wally Elder built a Pro Street 1969 Dodge Daytona and debuted it at the Street Machine Nationals in Du Quoin. He then sold it and had always regretted it. Elder wanted to build another car that looked like it, but also which had all the new technology and a bigger and better drivetrain. Now, 30 years later, he has built another Pro Street '69 Daytona and is re-living the full experience.
